Meantime 2: Shifting routines and spaces

How does the routine erosion of the coastline due to cyclones shape everyday life?

Broken houses along the coast are not abandoned after damage but are absorbed back into everyday life as spaces for gathering, work, and play. Card games take place within collapsed structures, daily chores spill into open ruins, and in-between spaces become active social zones. At the same time, houses that have survived erosion and cyclones adapt through incremental repairs, material changes, and flexible use of space. Together, the ruined and standing houses form a continuous living landscape, showing how everyday life persists and reorganizes itself beyond repeated climatic crises.
