The course focused on constructing toys inspired by our memories. Our childhood toys helped us identify key themes that became central to our exploration—stacking, assembling and dismantling, and comfort.

To develop our concept, we began by studying mechanisms that could enable a system of interlocking pieces. Our goal was to create something engaging that would also promote motor skills development. This led us to envision a form of constructive play through cards.

These cards are designed for both individual and collaborative play. On one side, they resemble a traditional deck of playing cards, while the reverse side features a puzzle. Each card has slits that allow users to create numbers and form shapes by interlocking the pieces.

The entire toy-making process was both engaging and thought-provoking, giving us a deeper understanding of how memory, play, and design can come together.
