The Specialisation & Allied Studies invite a shift in thinking of architectural pedagogy as exclusively concerned with the processes and the production of built form and advocates for collaboration in heterogeneous, autonomous directions within architecture. Emphasizing an expanded notion of spatial design, these courses center on self and life design and are anchored by faculty and resource persons who lead studios with profound philosophical connections. Conducted during the Monsoon Semester, these courses encourage students to collaborate in the practices of various teachers and contribute insights and simultaneously develop their own experiments.
