The Trap
Team- Sakshi Maeen, Sarah Lukhadia, Tanisi K, Rajvi Shah
Looking at the question "What is News?" the students of this group focused on the aspect of news that creates a trap. This trap is not purely physical, but a mental one as well. It is articulated through a network of threads that suspend objects to make them seem as though they are floating in air, similar to the web of information of news. In order to escape it, one has to retrace their steps.

Fluid
Team- Ansh Vishwakarma
Looking at the question "What is News?" the students of this group worked with how news is fluid in nature. Fluidity is the aspect of mediums by which it flows. The complex network and multiple layers of news is depicted by means of creating a network of strings with layers of cloth suspended from them. By creating this dense network of thick, dark colored cloths, they created a fluid medium where movement is still restricted. One can navigate through it easily but it still feels like passing through a dense medium. Touching upon the omnipresence of 'fluid' and its ability to take any form which is associated with news way a key highlight here.

Moulders
Team- Aditi Kawade, Yash Mhatre, Krisha Kothari, Jainam Mehta, Avinash Jain, Janhavi Naik
Looking at the question "What is News?" the students of this group focused on how daily news moulds ones behaviour, way of thinking and also the body language. This thought was transferred to making a model that involves human activity. When the person passes through the rollers, its movement creates the effect of getting moulded. The model is made by reusing materials such as used blue drums, old newspapers and such materials.

Gossip
Team- Shruti Nikam, Prishita Kulkarni, Yashita Ugavekar, Sayli Zantye, Swamini Nagre, Anupreksha Bakliwal, Shriya Parab
Looking at the question "What is News?" the students of this group focused on how news and gossip are symbolic of one another. The symbolism was found through means of a kaleidoscope. A large dynamic octagon of a wood frame with reflecting sheets and gelatin paper. When a person is inside the frame, she experiences constantly changing reflections. Drawing an analogies, gossip too is never static, changing its form as it passes from one to another.

Multisense
Team- Dishita Galchat, Neha Dalvi, Rachit Raj Somani, Vanshita Purwar, Aboli Rithe
Looking at the question "What is News?" the students of this group looked at how news appeals to the different senses. The news was given a form that would spread details about the college. The floor plans of the college was used as a base to create notice boards. The strings connecting these boards would represent the spread of news. It becomes a platform for people in the college to find the latest news about the college itself.
